25 Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. 26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.

27 But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”

28 “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”

29 “Come,” he said.

Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”

31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”

Behold! I AM Doing a New Thing

The Time is NOW

This is an exciting era in the Christian Faith. God’s complete nature is being discussed and acknowledged by God's secure, faithful, strong, and loving children.

Genesis 1:26-27 God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. …So human beings were created in God’s own image. In the image of God, God created them; male and female, God created them.”

God used plural pronouns, us and our, when creating human beings. This means a God with a dual nature--both male and female, made human beings. There is only one God, but Almighty God created both males and females in God's own image, and thus, God's complete nature according to the Bible, is both male and female. Yes, ladies and gentlemen you are both made in the image of God! We are ALL image bearers of the Most High.

God wants us to experience and know God's complete nature and everything God has to offer us. Through God we are to know the love of a father and the love of a mother, because our earthly parents are not perfect, but God is. Many of God's children lack the love and support of their earthly mothers and fathers or, don't have earthly parents. You are not alone, and God knows exactly what you need!

Psssst....lean in close, let me tell you a secret, God thinks women are just as amazing and valuable as men and in the Bible, God is also decribed as our mother.

If your mother abused you, abandoned you, or didn't approve of you, Almighty God will be your mother. If your father abused you, abandoned you, or didn't approve of you, God will be your father. God, our loving parent and the only ultimate authority over everyone- Mathew 23:9, will adopt you, bless you, love you, and approve you! Remember we did not come from our parents; we came here to earth through our parents from God, for God's plan and purpose for our lives.

Let go of your preconceived notions of God or limited views that cut God in half, and just allow God to meet you where you are, and love you how you need to be loved. God sees you, hears you, knows everything about you, and still loves you unconditionally! <3

Psalm 27:10 "Even if my father and mother abandon me, God will take care of me."

Isaiah 66:13 God as a comforting mother God: “As a mother comforts her child, so I will comfort you; you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.”

1John 3:1 God as a loving father “See what kind of love the father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.”

Isaiah 49:15 God compared to a nursing mother God: “Can a woman forget her nursing child, or show no compassion for the child of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you.”

Psalm 68:5-6 God as a father who defends those without a family “A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in heaven.  God sets the lonely in families, and leads forth the prisoners with singing.”

Deuteronomy 32:18 God as our mother who gave birth to us: “You were unmindful of the Rock that bore you; you forgot the God who gave you birth.”

Hosea 11:3-4 God described as a mother raising her children God: “Yet it was I who taught Ephraim to walk, I who took them up in my arms; but they did not know that I healed them. I led them with cords of human kindness, with bands of love. I was to them like those who lift infants to their cheeks. I bent down to them and fed them.”

Almighty God you are above everyone and no one is higher than you as Jesus said in Matthew 23:9. We are all made in your image, yet no human is like you, above you, or above one another-Genesis 1:26-27. I love and honor you God, in ALL your ways, and in ALL your glory by honoring your complete nature. I profess what is Biblically accurate about your complete nature without fear of people. It is more important to please you God than to please people. I will speak the truth in love without fear, and the truth will set us ALL free from the divisions Jesus tore down in Ephesians 2:11-22 and Galatians 3:28.--"For there is neither male nor female, nor Jew nor Greek, nor slave, nor free, but all are one (equal) in Christ Jesus." This leveling statement from Jesus Christ himself is the final word on the issue of social and gender equality. This verse confirms that all people are equal in the eyes of God and in the Body of Christ. I will do my very best to love all of my neighbors equally, as myself, just as you do, and ask us to.

Galatians 3:28 and Ephesians 2:11-22 are New Testament/New Covenant and given to us by Jesus himself therefore, they supersede any other verses in the Bible (New or Old Testament) that may contradict them.

Don’t miss the new thing God is doing because it’s not exactly what you expected….

Proverbs 14:12 "There is a way that seems right to people, but this way is actually the way of death (misery)."

Jesus broke from the traditions of the era into which he came, to insist women and all different types of people be included and treated with respect and honor. He chose the least likely to be the heroes and heroines of the Bible in amazing ways!

Let’s truly be followers of Jesus and model his wise, powerful, and beautiful example of how we should include, respect, honor, and love each other.

Mary Magdalene a.k.a Mary the Great -Disciple to the Disciples

Mary Magdalene became the first preacher of the good news that Jesus had rose from the dead, when the Angel of God and Jesus chose her to go and tell the other disciples he had risen. Jesus did everything with intention, as a message to future generations, and with direction from God. The Angel of God and Jesus could've gone directly to the male apostles or sent a man to them to be the first preacher of the good news. They knew it was Mary, a woman, who was going to Jesus's tomb. Jesus and the Angel intentionally chose Mary at this critical moment in time for this critical mission so Mary would be the founder of Christianity as the first witness and preacher of the risen Christ to set a new standard of inclusion for women in the Body of Christ! Praise God! You are so good!

The Woman at the Well

There are very few times in the Bible when Jesus hurried to meet someone. However, he did so in order to go out of his way to go through Samaria to meet one woman. Jesus had a divine appointment with a woman-a woman with a past, and a Samaritan woman nonetheless. (Jews like Jesus didn't usually associate with Samaritans). It was this foreign woman who Jesus had the longest private conversation with, of anyone in the New Testament, and it was this woman, a woman with a past, that he first revealed himself to as the Messiah. She then became the first preacher in her community to confirm with direct knowledge from Jesus himself, that the Messiah was here among us creating many new believers. In choosing her, Jesus intentionally defied the social taboos of this era to set an example of how we should value and include all types of people who are all equally valuable to God and used to do great things.

Holy Mary Partner of God and the Mother of Jesus

God intentionally made manifest through Mary who was highly favored and made Holy as God's partner and female half, to give birth to the Messiah. (The seed of the woman (Mary) will bruise the serpent's head.) God is God, and didn't have to make manifest through Mary to bring Jesus to this earth and yet, she is the consecrated female half of God. Thus she is special, divine, and the Mother of Christ and partner of God. Without Mary, there would be no Jesus. Mary the female half of God and Mother of Christ played a lead role in the redemption of humanity.

Respect and honor the women in your life. They are God's chosen instruments in equal measure to men. Remember, God has critical plans that must be birthed through the daughters of the Most High.

Show respect for all people [treat them honorably], love all in the Body of Christ, and fear and honor Almighty God. (1Peter 2:17)

Do you not know that you (all of us) are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? (Corinthians 3:16)

"And you shall love God (all of God) with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength." This is the first commandment. 31 And the second, like it, is this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandments greater than these." (Mark 12:30-31)

For there is no partiality (bias) with God. (Romans 2:11)

Egalitarian Christian

Christian egalitarianism (derived from the French word égal, meaning equal or level), also known as biblical equality, is a Christian form of egalitarianism. It holds that all human persons are created equally in God's sight—equal in fundamental worth and moral status. This view does not just apply to gender, but to any differences between individuals. It does not imply that all have the same skills, abilities, interests, or physiological or genetic traits. Christian egalitarianism holds that all people are equal before God and in Christ the son of Holy Mary and God; have equal responsibility to use their gifts and obey their calling to the glory of God; and are called to roles and ministries without regard to class, ethnicity, gender, or race.

“But God said to Samuel, “Do not look at one's appearance or at the height of their stature, for God sees not as humans see, for people look at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart”.  (Samuel 16:7)
